When your baby or toddler is unwell it can be a heart wrenching time as a parent and you may feel a little helpless. Our A-Z of Common Illnesses in babies and toddlers is a handy reference source for you when your baby gets sick and provides you with the symptoms and a recommended course of action to follow for some of the more common ailments of childhood.

Knowing when the right time to seek medical help is a question we all worry about. We have provided a few guidelines to help you have confidence in your decision.

  • Where paracetamol or ibuprofen is recommended consult you doctor before use and/or follow the directions on the bottle. Ibuprofen is not recommended for children under 6 months of age. Do not give aspirin to a child under 12 years.
