GoodNites ®

Every night your child wakes up to the same horrible nightmare -
the fact that her still wets the bed. Although many other kids have
this same problem, your child can't help but feel embarrassed and
alone. Bringing about more anxious and sleepless nights shared by
both you and your child.

Finding out more about Bedwetting
Finding out more about bed-wetting (enuresis) is a good first
step to helping your child get through it. You'll soon see that
even though there aren't any easy answers or quick fixes, there are
ideas to help you and your child cope with the problem until it
goes away. And there's reassurance in knowing you're not the only
one with this problem.
So learn all there is to know about bed-wetting, and take active
steps to help your family through it.
How a Doctor Can Help
The first person to talk to about bed-wetting is the doctor. Your
child's physician can help you figure out why your child is wetting
the bed and recommend the best course of treatment.
There are several treatments available today that offer
short-term relief. All of them take time, and unfortunately, none
have a 100 percent success rate.
Most kids just outgrow the problem. Your child can use GoodNites
Pyjama Pants with any of these treatment options to keep their
sheets dry while you're waiting for the treatment to become
effective. Please consult with your doctor to make sure this
information is right for your child as some circumstances will
warrant different treatments.
Treatment
Sleep Conditioning
The doctor may prescribe a nighttime alarm that attaches inside
your child's underwear or GoodNites absorbent underpants; when your
child begins to wet, the alarm wakes them so they can go to the
bathroom.
Medication
The doctor may prescribe medication meant to stop bed-wetting.
Medication is generally only used for more difficult cases and/or
special occasions. Mostly medication is used only for a limited
time.
